Will tree growth affect my signal?
Yes, if trees grow over the years and obstruct the view of your equipment, it can interfere with your signal. Be sure to trim any trees/bushes that grow into the line of site of the small dish providing service.

Sometime when I’m watching a movie, it will buffer. What can I do?
On occasion the providers encounter a maximum pull on their systems, it’s not always your internet. This often happens on Friday or Saturday nights.
Be sure that your computers, laptops, pads, phones, TVs, gaming counsels, etc. are scheduled to do automatic updates in the wee hours of the morning when there are no users on the system. Every piece of technology requires updates, this can REALLY impact your service if it happens when there are many devices actively connected. Check your user’s manuals to determine how to pick the time for updates.

What does it mean when I do a speed check and the numbers are lower than my package?
When you do an on-line speed check of your internet connection, what is shown is what you have left of the internet package you are paying for. In the example above (2/4), you would have 2mbps left for uploading and 4mbps left for downloading. If you’re surprised, be sure other users aren’t doing updates or downloading games while you’re testing.
