Things to check when it appears I have no internet connection
1. Are the cables on the POE (power over ethernet), the black box we provided plugged in tightly to the back of the box?

2. Is the POE (power over ethernet) black box power cord plugged into power? If so, is it on a switched outlet? Be sure the outlet switch is ‘ON’.

3. Try unplugging your POE (black box) from power for 1-2 minutes then plug it back in and give it 2-3 minutes to reset.

4. Try unplugging your router from power for 1-2 minutes then plug it back in and give it 2-3 minutes to reset.

NEVER press the RESET BUTTON on the bottom of the POE (black box) or your router.
This will set it back to factory defaults and a technician will need to come out to your house to reset it.

​Your router and the POE are both small computers themselves. It’s good to restart your router and POE every couple of weeks.

​How to Restart your Router and POE
Simply unplug each unit from the power outlet for 1-2 minutes. Then plug them back into power and give it 2-3 minutes to reconnect before using the internet. Be sure to keep track of what plug goes where, it matters!
